Young Professionals Committee

Who We Are

The Leake & Watts Young Professionals Committee (YPC) is dedicated to stirring up the spirit of philanthropy and encouraging young professionals to give back to their community through fundraising to benefit Leake & Watts’ services to children, adults and families. The YPC is comprised of young, enthusiastic New Yorkers under the age of 40, who serve as Leake & Watts ambassadors, building awareness of its mission among their associates and acquaintances.

The YPC hosts two annual fundraising events and members have the opportunity to designate the funds raised to the Leake & Watts program of their choice each year. In addition, YPC members participate in volunteer activities, including bowling and ice-skating with children/adults with developmental disabilities and career workshops with teens at the Biondi Education Center. They also help with the annual Toy Drive and have launched several other initiatives, such as Cases 4 Kids.

Membership & Meetings

New members are always welcome from the professional community in New York City and Westchester County!

YPC meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of every month and are held at 7pm at the Crowne Plaza in Times Square, NYC.
