Biondi High Lions win County Basketball Championship!

We are proud to announce that the Leake & Watts Biondi Education Center boys Varsity Basketball team earned the Westchester County Class D Championship Title on Monday, March 1st!

The team dedicated its victory to Steve Berkowitz, who helped found the Leake & Watts Basketball program and passed away recently. "I never won a championship before," said junior Steve Morales. "Winning it for Mr. Berkowitz and winning it for my school feels good."

The Biondi Lions beat the Martin Luther King Jr. Tigers 59-57 to advance to the regional finals on March 13th. To read more about their victory click here.
