Ice Skating Volunteer Event

On a sunny Saturday in February, a group of volunteers from the Leake & Watts Young Professionals Committee (YPC) spent the afternoon ice-skating in Central Park with the young adults who reside in the Leake & Watts community residences for adults with developmental disabilities.

The volunteers enjoyed the opportunity to meet the people who motivate their commitment to the YPC and help enrich the lives of the persons served by Leake & Watts. For the young adults who reside in our residences in the Bronx and Yonkers ice skating was a unique and exciting opportunity to interact with new people, try something different, and have fun in the city!
