Open House at 241st Street Residence

Leake & Watts hosted an Open House at our new residence serving adult young women with developmental disabilities in the Bronx in September.

This new Leake & Watts community residence at 241st street is home to seven young adult women with developmental disabilities.  Our community residences are designed to afford each resident the level of care she needs with 24-hour supervision and support.  Residents receive assistance with life skills training, transportation training, development of self-discipline and self-control skills, cooking, and cleaning as well as other basic life skills at 241st.

At the Open House, guests had the opportunity to tour the residence and meet and talk to the young women who live at 241st street.  The young women greeted guests at the door, gave guided tours of their home, and served drinks and appetizers.
