Take the George Washington Bridge to the Saw Mill River/Henry Hudson Parkway North (stay in the right lane on the upper deck and bear right on the exit).  Proceed as in the Manhattan directions below.

From Brooklyn or Manhattan:

1.    Take the West Side Highway to the Henry Hudson Bridge (pay toll).  Continue on the Henry Hudson Parkway to the Broadway North exit.  Bear right at the end of the exit ramp and continue north on Broadway to Valentine Lane in Yonkers (approx. 25 blocks).   OR:

2.    From the East River Drive to the Major Deegan Expressway.  Stay on the Deegan to the Van Cortlandt Park Ave. South exit.  Turn off and continue veering right onto Broadway (under underpass).  Stay on Broadway to Valentine Lane.

From Long Island or Queens:

From the Throgs Neck Bridge, follow signs to the Hutchinson River Parkway north.  Proceed to Exit 13 (Cross County Parkway) and follow the Cross County to its end at the Saw Mill River Parkway.  Bear left onto the Saw Mill River Parkway (south).  Proceed as in the Westchester  directions below.

From Westchester:

Proceed south on the Saw Mill River Parkway.  Cross the NY City line and remain in the right lane as the highway bears right.  Exit at Broadway and bear right at the fork on the exit ramp.  Proceed north into Yonkers to Valentine Lane.

By Subway:

The IRT #1 and #9 Uptown both end at 242^nd St. and Broadway.  Exit the station by the right-hand (east) stairway down to the bus stop for the Westchester Bee-line bus (#1 or #2:  all buses proceed north on Broadway) Get off at Valentine Lane (first stop after passing C-Town supermarket on left.)  Walk two long blocks to Hawthorne Ave.  Turn left on Hawthorne.

By Bus:

1.    By NY City Bus:
Bronx Buses #7 and #10 both stop at 263^rd St. and Riverdale Avenue.  Walk north to Valentine Lane.  Turn left onto Valentine Lane.  Walk downhill one block to Hawthorne Avenue.  Turn left onto Hawthorne to the gate on the right in the middle of the block. 

2.    By Liberty Bus Line: {718-652-8400 for schedule and stops}
The BX M1 East Side Manhattan or BX M2 West Side Manhattan buses both end at 261^st St. and Riverdale Avenue.  Walk north to Valentine Lane and proceed as in the previous directions.

3.    By Westchester Bee-Line Bus: {914-813-7777 for routes and schedule}
The #32 bus stops at the corner of Hawthorne Avenue and Valentine Lane;  this is the nearest bus stop.  Other buses run on Riverdale Avenue (one block from Hawthorne Avenue) and Broadway (two blocks from Hawthorne Avenue) and stop at Valentine Lane.

 By Metro North Train:

Trains on the Hudson Line running between Grand Central Station and Poughkeepsie stop at the main Yonkers station.  Local trains also stop at the Ludlow station, one stop south of  the main station, closer to Leake and Watts.

1.    From the main Yonkers station:
Take the Westchester Bee-Line #32 bus south to the corner of Hawthorne Avenue and Valentine Lane.  Continue south on Hawthorne Avenue to the gate on the right in the middle of the block. 

2.    From the Ludlow station:
Exit through the parking lot and continue one block to Hawthorne Avenue.  Take the Bee-Line #32 bus south.... as above.

2a.  To walk to Leake and Watts:
Exit through the parking lot and immediately turn right (south) on Sunnyside and walk approximately 10 minutes to where Sunnyside ends at Valentine Lane.  Turn left on Valentine Lane and walk uphill to the gate on the right in the middle of the block.  Proceed up the driveway to the main administration building on the left and the Biondi School building on the right.. 

By Amtrak Train from Upstate NY:
